After buying eye of the north and playing it since release i have found that i find better items off of named mobs elsewhere ie prophecies ,nightfall i find so many good yellow items as of yet 83% of my drops in eyes of the north are WHITE much more than any other places.

Also money is hard to make there i can run missions elsewhere and walk away with 4-5 yellows, few purples, lots of cyan very little white.

Really dont feel i got my moneys worth out of this expansion seem more of a money sink than anything else.

yellow items? that explains it then. you clearly are playing diablo II. wrong board.

anyway, you could try farming certain collector items instead of weapons. they fetch a nice price.

The drops are fine as it is...most people tend to forget the current EoTN is in NORMAL MODE. so the drops fit in well.
in other campaigns...you get better drops because you're in HM and more of the white items when in NM, don't ya?

yellow=gold
cyan=blue

he might just see the colors different. the blue items r more cyan then really blue, blue is darker. gold, yellow, yellow gold. not much difference to some ppl.

Anyway, the drops do suck, chests seem to drop pruples 95% of the time and most of the chests at the end of dungeons r either high req or the skins sucks. very rare that u will get anything good

Actually I rarely farm in HM and I get ALOT better drops in the the other campaigns. Even during this "triple green drop" weekend I havent gotten one green gold or even a purple in Gwen. yet I go and try and get 2 greens for a guildie I got ghials and milthuruns staffs in about 30 minutes. and this was in NM not HM

I was doing "In Defense of the Eye" and I got a purple REQ 3 drop. That's not a typo: THREE.

What were the stats? Cause you can get purple and gold crap items if they're low level. Like around ascalon and shing jea. Low req, but the items had pretty much like 4-11 damage or some such. Got a defence 8 shield with no req somewhere. Was inscribed too, I think.

You're also fighting level 8 mobs at first... Don't think the level 8 mobs can meet the high req weapons!

True, that...was playing spirit spam so wasn't really targetting anything... but it's still ridiculous how often I get req 5 or 6 drops around the northern shiverpeaks areas.

Its because there is no hard mode, thus all loot outside of hardmode is scaled down. Till hard mode is added, drops will continue to be poor.
